Why “Celebration” is Our 2025 Theme
Too often, women affected by breast cancer are so focused on getting through it all, they forget to pause… and celebrate themselves.
At The Boobie Queen Company, we believe healing includes empowerment—the kind that comes from embracing who you are now, even when it feels unfamiliar.
While October is often filled with pink ribbons and campaigns, we want to shift the spotlight back to you—to honoring this version of yourself, even if she feels different, even if it’s hard.
Awareness is crucial, but celebration is essential. Messy, beautiful, in-progress—you are worthy of compassion, power, and recognition. Sometimes, we all need that reminder.
That’s why Celebration is our very first annual theme. Because this community deserves to feel proud, empowered, and seen—not for what they’ve done, but simply for who they are.
MEET KATIE STROBEL - 2025 Boobie Queen of Celebration
When we thought about crowning the Queen of Celebration, it was easy to connect this Queen to our vision. She embodies exactly what celebration means here at The Boobie Queen Company: celebrating yourself as you are.
At just 28 years old, Katie Strobel was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. What was first believed to be Stage 3 quickly revealed itself as Stage 4—and from that moment on, Katie has been redefining what it means to live with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) as a mother and wife.
Her journey has been anything but easy: whole brain radiation, many rounds of chemo, a double mastectomy, and the daily realities of lymphedema, vision loss in one eye, and relearning how to walk. But through it all, Katie has shown up with courage and love—learning to embrace her body, her story, and her life in each season.
Today, she thrives as a wife, a mom, and a proud Boobie Queen—proving every single day that life with MBC is a life to be celebrated.
We see you, Katie. We honor you. And we celebrate the fierce, beautiful Boobie Queen you are—today and always.
